Hope you have enjoyed a safe and enjoyable New Year and holiday season with loved ones. We have confimed every Sunday in January at Opal Divine's, our new Puente Fuente Hot Spot. We thank those fun people who joined us to start out the new year on Sunday January 3rd.
See you all on at Opal Divines (Pennfield park) this sunday.

- 10pm. $5 cover. Puente Fuente Productions and the Austin Salsa Dance Meetup present Divine Times at Opal Divine's. Enjoy socializing and plenty of dancing to artfully DJd salsa with a few bachatas, merengues and cha chas sprinkled in as requested. Be sure to sample some of the great service, drinks, and food.
Preparation: No partner required. Bring leather or hard plastic soled shoes for dancing, as rubber soles are hard on the knees. Opal's has a smooth concrete floor.
7 - 7:30 Join us in the room to the right of the bar as we order a beverage or a snack and chat for a bit while the music plays for your dancing enjoyment.
7:30 - 8pm. Never tried salsa before? Mini-Salsa Intro Class - Beginners are invited to get started with Fawn..
Sunday at Opal's is an opportunity for our members to socialize with each other and salsa regulars and learn Salsa in South Austin - and of course, dance for several hours! An added bonus
- step out on the adjacent patio for a South Austin view of Congress Avenue.
This is a lovely spot with good drinks, food and service. Smooth, clean concrete floor.
Why go: You haven't been to a Salsa meetup yet, you say? Maybe you've been waiting to meet someone first, or get some classes under your belt before going out? This is perfect as you get an opportunity to meet other people also learning, and get a taste of what salsa is about. Get over that first hurdle and take the first step. Learn basic salsa and get to dancing on the dance floor!
Opal Divine's Penn Field location is across the parking lot from Ruta Maya.
